The LAX Development Program consists of several major projects, including the Bradley West project and
the Central Utility Plant (CUP) Replacement project. The $1.545 Billion Bradley West project will provide
greater capacity to the Tom Bradley International Terminal's west side with new gates to comfortably
accommodate passenger loads for new generation aircraft and a great hall for premier dining and retail
shopping. It is considered to be the largest public works project in the history of the City of Los Angeles
and it will create 4,000 construction related jobs over the course of the four-year project schedule.
The $438 Million CUP Replacement project will replace the existing CUP which was built over 50 years ago
with a modern and efficient facility capable of handling LAX's current and future utility needs. For more
information about these projects, please view the Project Fact Sheets at
www.LAXDevelopment.org.
